PLC for a Rock Cutting Machine
Orbweb is responsible for the implementation of the control
system of a rock cutting machine (RCM) for underground mining applications.
Input and output devices include a number of displacement
and pressure sensors and hydraulic valves for the control of the RCM. Algorithms were developed for the automation
of the rock cutting machine.
